Cabo has many "visitor information" booths along its street. They are actually timeshare sales booths. Their staffs will advertise a visit to their resort in exchange for discounted tours, rental cars, or other giveaways.

Los Cabos cities layout

Los Cabos spreads out north and west of the harbor of Cabo San Lucas Bay. It is edged by foothills and desert mountains to the west and south. The main street leading into town from the airport and San José del Cabo is Lázaro Cárdenas. As this street nears the harbor, Bulevar Marina branches off from it. Bulevar Marina then becomes the main artery that curves around the waterfront.
